Racism in Chile: Our worst face

Hello friends, today I would like to talk about a serious problem: racism in Chile, our worst face. Racism in Chile has many different forms and I would like to talk about three specific that we can see in the society.

First, racism against indigenous people. It is easy to see how people speak pejoratively about them, saying things like they are lazy, alcoholic and other bad things. People don't try to understand his culture and his form of life. This problem has existed since the dictatorship, when the goverment installed a racist education where children were not allowed to speak in his language and his culture was discriminated. Secondly, racism against inmigrants. Here I will talk about two kinds: Peruvian and black people.The first ones are the largest group of inmigrant in Chile and they are very discriminated in our country. Chilean people think they are superior to peruvians, they think they are ugly, they think they are “indios”, "dirty people", so they think peruvians are a bad group of immigrant. Nevertheless, chilean people don't think the same way about europeans or “Gringos”, so we can see that skin colour is the cause of this discrimination, that is racism. Finally, I am talking about a new group of immigrants: black people coming from Haiti. They are a new group in Chile and chilean people have a bad opinion about them. Chileans sometimes say that black people are bad, they are lazy and they have come to steal chileans work, so in general our society reject them. In conclusion, with this examples we can see how racism exists in our country and it is something very bad, so we need to try to change this behavior in order to have a better society.

My free time activity

In my free time I do many things in the week, but I´m going to talk about three specific activities what I most like. Firstly what I most like to do is cooking, something that I really enjoy to do is that, I love to do a nice breakfast, sometimes something easy like a field eggs with fruits and maybe a “mate” drink and other times something like pancakes. And I like to do a dinner like a spaghetti or beans (porotos).
Other thing that I like to do is watching a movie, I enjoy this very much specially because is something that I can do along or with other people. I love the science fiction movies, the adventure movies and many others genders. Many times I come back tired at home and it´s nice to watch a movie.
Finally I like to do physical exercise, I think it´s good for the body and health do this, so two or three time in the week I run or swimming or I try to do something like this and I really enjoy it.
Well for all that I explained I can say this are the activities that I most like to do in my free time.

Hello dear friends

Today I will like to talk about my best holidays I ever have, this is: My holiday in Linares Mountain. It was amazing.

Two years ago I and my cousin decided to go to Achibueno Lake. This travel it was a real adventure because at first we don´t know very well how to get there, second to get there we must to walk for three days to footpath and many time we lost this and we must to camping in the different part that we found.

Second thing it was that I could share different with my cousins, this because we was in a beautiful but hard place, so we had some problems. How we had to be together all the time, when we walk, when we eat, when we sleep, etc., so sometimes we discussed among us, but we could solve the problems and did different thing very funny like fishing or campfire, so of this travel we get great memories. 

Finally the nature was incredibly. We can saw many different species of trees, fauna and landscapes. I could see many native species like nothofagus (oaks), Canelos, Arrayanes, Avellanos, among others. Too we saw rabbits, loros tricachues (parrots) and many of other beautiful birds. And we saw a beautiful geomorphology with great mountains, summit and finally the lake, this it was the most beautiful, although the water was very cold.

Well, for all this this travel it was the best holiday what I never have, I had many others good and great holidays, but this it was so beautiful that win to all others.
