The sexism: an actuality university problem

The sexism it is a very important actually topic, in all the last century we see how the woman taken to the streets, the public space demand equality and freedom, creating a great movement in all the world. Today this movement still exist and it have a very kind of wins, but the sexism it is part of the problems that still exist.

In the world the woman experience many kinds of discrimination, this discrimination have in the first, second and third world, with different scale. For example the woman in have the stigma that how she have the kids she are only the responsible to the be care of the children, in a many parts of the planet, even Europe and America, the woman has a discrimination in his salary a difference to the men only for his sex.

In Chile it´s not very different, on the contrary, the male chauvinist is in our culture.  This is how in this faculty we see how, for example, there are a different number of teachers and researcher women and men. Also in the faculty of history, the last time we see how the case of sexism and sexual harassment emerge with a two or three teachers and woman students and the worst it is that the university doesn´t take the request of this topic and the action of teacher and specially students, get that one teacher was expelled.

Finally we can see how the sexism happen in our modern times and how even happen in our university, the woman teacher of history claim that are discriminate for the men teachers and cannot develop. That it is a very important problem and the teaching group, the university directorial, students and all the society have to work in change this, how a public university and maybe the most important university of the country we have to work to change the problems of the society and for that we have to need to star with home.
